Having worked in labor and delivery at St Elizabeth's (in Boston) for 19 years, it is by now my second home! Tragedy struck our family 2 years ago when our baby boy Harry passed at 4 days of age. It was my husband, children, extended family and friends that got us through this devastating period in our lives. My 'other family', the nurses I worked so closely with all those years at St. E's were affected as well. They stepped in and wanted to do something to remember Harry, so we all walked in the March of Dimes. We just had our 3rd walk this past May. It feels good to be surrounded by people who care and understand, to feel the unity and support of my second family is absolutely wonderful. Family is Everything designed and made up shirts for us this year. (see picture)
